How To Quit Television Cold Turkey

1- TURN IT OFF

A lot easier said than done, but by all means go ahead and press that button.

And if that’s still not enough to keep you from touching that button ever again, pull the plug out.  It’ll be the best thing you ever did for your time, your freedom, and your grip on reality.

2- CANCEL THE CABLE SERVICE

Save a few dollars and cancel it. This includes satellite TV and anything closely related.  Call them up and let them know you’re done with TV. If they try to bamboozle you into sticking with their cable/internet/land-line package, let them know where they can stick it!

Just kidding!  Just go to a competitor who will be happy to snatch you up and provide you with the internet only service that you’re looking for!

3- THROW IT OUT

Some habits are hard to break.  Not everyone has the will-power to turn their television into a decorative prop. If you find yourself tempted to go back into TVLand, if you feel like you’re missing out on the latest fads and gossip, or if you find yourself longing for that safe secure world of lies that you once had, that’s when you know to take drastic measures.  Donate it, sell it, or just throw it out. Do what you gotta do to get that lying machine out of your house!

And there you have it. Three simple ways to quitting the lying machine and walking away from the bullcrap.

When it comes to stupidity, you know you got better things to listen to.

And when it comes to mental slavery, ain’t nobody got time for that!

With much love and support on your journey,
